Kettering Health Main Campus
- Kettering Health Main Campus, formerly Kettering Medical Center, is the flagship hospital of Kettering Health and has been serving Kettering, Ohio and the Greater Dayton area since 1964.
- The facility includes the Benjamin and Marian Schuster Heart Hospital, maternity service with a level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and level II Emergency Care.
- In 2020, KH Main Campus received an “A” from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications
The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process in providing nursing care to patients in all settings in collaboration with other health care providers. The RN is accountable for his/her own professional development and practice within the scope defined by law. Utilizing organizational resources the RN acts as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care including delegationof care and participation in performance and practice improvement activities. The delivery of nursing care within the Kettering Health The resistered nurse reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
The Staff Nurse Specialist is a staff nurse, who demonstates solid performance, with additional responsibilities related to unit education and orientation.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor os Science in Nursing.
Two years of experience in specialty;
Required Licenses:
Ohio, United States Registered Nurse [current and in good standing]
Required skills:
BLS, ACLS.
Essential Functions:
Responsive to coaching to correct risky behaviors and applies learning to next situation
Demonstrates nursing clinical skills necessary to make pertinent and accurate assessments of the physical, psychosocial, sprititual and educational needs of the patient
Analyses collected data to establish and prioritize a list of actual and postential individualized age specific patient problems and or needs
Demonstates appropriate clinical judgement and critical thinking skills
Identifies and responds appropriately to emergency situations
Behavioral choices align with safe practice standards.
