TECHNOLOGIST ASSISTANT - RADIOLOGY - PART-TIME - VARIED

Responsibilities:

• Technologist Assistant serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team and is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered technologist.
• The tech assistant will perform technologist care skills that have been delegated by the supervising technologist, as well as escorts/transports patients to/from nursing units and diagnostic areas safely with respect for confidentiality as assigned.
• Correctly identifies patients, recognizes their limitations and obtains additional information and assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school/G.E.D
•  
• Required Skills
  Current Basic Life Support Certification is required.
  This is a physical job that calls for excellent communication and people skills.
  Tech Assistant needs the strength to help lift patients, the stamina to spend all day of their feet, and the communication skills to work with patients, families, and hospital staff.
