TRANSPORTER/EKG TECH - PT TRANSPORTATION

Responsibilities:

•  Escorts/ Transports patients to/from nursing units, treatment and diagnostic areas safely and with respect for privacy and confidentiality as assigned.
• Correctly identifies patient, safely transports via wheelchair, cart or bed to the requested destination.
• Recognizes their limitations, and obtains additional information and assistance as needed
• Upon order, does technical work in the conducting of Non-Invasive cardiology studies (EKG's)on all patients.

Hours/Shifts:

• Full Time; Days. Holidays and call rotation required.

Requirements:

• High School Dipoloma or equivalent
• BLS/CPR certificate
• Holiday rotation and call rotation required.

Preferred Qualifications

1st shift Monday-Friday

2 holidays per year
