Responsibilities & Requirements
The Student Compliance Coordinator supports Kettering College in meeting all federal, state, and institutional requirements related to student compliance and accessibility. This role ensures timely and accurate reporting, facilitates accommodation services for students with documented disabilities, manages Title IX and training processes, and strengthens the college’s overall safety and accountability posture. The coordinator works closely with the Director of Student Success & Advising, faculty, staff, and external agencies to protect institutional integrity while improving the student experience.
Responsibilities
Coordinate annual compliance reports and mandated training.
Manage Title IX processes, records, and training completion.
Conduct disability intakes, develop accommodation plans, and communicate with faculty.
Oversee Testing Center scheduling and accommodation fulfillment.
Support campus safety through emergency planning, safety drills, and tracking CARES/BIT referrals.
Ensure compliance with state grants and audit requirements, including Choose Ohio First.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in higher education administration, student affairs, counseling, or related field.
Experience in higher education compliance reporting (Clery, Title IX, FERPA, ADA, DFSCA).
Experience conducting student intakes and developing accommodation plans.
Familiarity with disability services best practices and accessibility standards.
Knowledge of student information systems and reporting tools (Jenzabar preferred).
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across academic, student affairs, and compliance units.
Demonstrated ability to balance detailed compliance work with student-centered service.
